Yardley London has recently launched their very famous face washes in India..

It comes in two variants..Gentle Cleansing (Refreshing Facial Cleanser) and Deep Cleansing(Luxurious Facial Foam)..each further comes in two forms..English Lavender and English Rose.

I am not very fond of Deep Cleansing Foaming Face Washes as they make my skin feel dry and stretchy…and gel based face washes suit my skin perfectly.

This English Lavender Gentle Refreshing Facial Cleanser is quite my types..and Lavender is my favorite scents too.

Its a light violet transparent gel based face wash..only a small amount is required for the whole face..I love the transparent violet tube too and the cap is sturdy enough..neither does excess face wash ooze out and it snaps and closes tight too.

I love the light lavender soothing smell..its very gentle as claimed..and skin never felt dry or stretchy after using this..though it does not foam too much..but decently well..and cleanses well too.

Pros:

1. Love the transparent violet packaging..the cap is sturdy and it is travel friendly.
2. I quite like the soothing lavender smell.
3. Its quite gentle and does not strip the face of oils or make it feel dry and stretchy.
4. You need just a little amount.
5. Comes in the Deep Cleansing Foam form too if you prefer cream based foaming face washes…and in English Rose scent if you like that.
6. Economically priced.

Cons:

1. Has SLS.
2. Would not remove your make up..this is a gentle cleanser..so do not expect that.

No other cons..Overall I like this…love the Lavender smell and it is gentle enough to be used everyday..surely recommended if you like Lavender scent..I love Yardley English Lavender Deo and Soap too 😀

It also comes in a pack of 5 at Rs. 400/-. Each sheet comes in a separate pack in it. Its a white fennel cloth with cuttings for the eyes and mouth and covers exactly only the face.

Its totally soaked in ‘essence’ and in a lot of it ! This I feel is very travel friendly and as available separately too..quite convenient too..and I guess would be easily available everywhere including the
pharmacies..so in case even if you are on a holiday and have tanned or need a quick fix..you can use this.


This does lighten the skin a bit..not something drastically different…it would help remove your tan. Gives an effect like a light bleach..that is just on the skin..not the hair.




It does tingle a bit..so I am not sure how it would fare for sensitive skin..but it does not harm the skin..the only issue is the effect is temporary or just for a few hours.

Pros:

1. Travel friendly.
2. Does have a lot of essence.
3. Lightens the skin and marks a little and helps in removing tan.
4. At Rs. 99/- its not very expensive.
5. You just need 15 minutes..not very time consuming or messy.
6. Easily available.

Cons:

1. Might not suit sensitive skin.
2. Has parabens.
3. Temporary effect.

Overall its a decent mask..the only thing is the effect is temporary and it does have a lot of things in the ingredient list including parabens which I am not too sure of..

You can also try using cotton masks with toners, softeners, etc at home..Japan’s leading beauty expert, Chizu Saeki recommends using such masks..also which are hydrating..in her book THE JAPANESE SKINCARE REVOLUTION..see this video..

I am reviewing the shade 912 Crimson Red. I have already reviewed their previous Color Marvel Nail Paints here.
These have a slimmer and better packaging..I liked the bottle..and also the brush..it spreads evenly and faster. Also its dries fast.
Crimson Red is a true bridal red shade…I love such reds..Another similar one I like is Street Wear Bridal Red. But since I found this now..and its Acetone, DBP and toluene free..I am sticking onto this..and surely getting this for my red stock forever !
Pros:1. Its Acetone, DBP and Toluene free.
2. Did not chip for 6 days and then chipped a little at the tips.
3. The brush is nice…non messy, fuss free application in a minute.
4. The shade is opaque enough and just 2 coats are required.
5. Dries fast.
6. Economical at the price..as it offers 8ml.Cons:

1. Availability is a problem with Lotus Herbals Cosmetics.

No other cons. I am totally loving this shade, the opaqueness, does not chip for 6-7 days and Acetone, DBP and Toluene free. And the Crimson Red Shade ! I am totally getting this..and recommending for sure..

2. Quite pigmented..just 1 swipe gives a good enough color.
3. Glides on super smooth..no tugging or pulling.

6. Safe for sensitive eyes..did not irritate on waterline too.
7. Sharpens well..without wastage.
8. As its sharpening and not mechanical..hygienic.Cons:

1. You need a good remover to take it off completely.
2. Faces Cosmetics is not available easily everywhere.

I have no other issues with these ! These are totally recommended and must have !
