China Glaze Introduces Second Collection of Magnetic Nail Lacquers

Magnetic nail art took the beauty world by storm earlier this year, creating a nail art force that was hard for anyone to resist. To create your own unique China Glaze® Magnetix II manicure:

1. Select desired magnet design. Choose from circles, vertical lines or lattice effects.

2. Apply one coat of China Glaze® Strong Adhesion Base Coat to clean nails; allow to dry completely.

3. Designing one nail at a time for best results, apply one coat of Magnetix II nail lacquer. Immediately hold the China Glaze® Magnetix II Magnet over damp nail for 5-10 seconds, positioning so the built-in finger rest holds it steady. (If you happen to touch the magnet to damp polish, simply wipe clean with nail polish remover – it won’t damage the magnet.)

4. Once the design is fully developed and nails are dry, seal with China Glaze® Fast Forward Top Coat.

Ah…don’t we all have a weakness for shoes and bags..nothing is too much for us when it comes to clothes, shoes and bags 😀
I recently was just surfing and found this super tempting deal on Yebhi.com..they have this last size thing..where everything from clothes to shoes which are the only piece in one size left, they offer at a good discount..And the best part of Yebhi is their Try n Buy where you order stuff and opt for Cash on Delivery and pay only if the thing fits you ! Now, is’nt this something we all would love..no tensions of whether the size is perfect and then have to return and all..no hassles..

I found 3 pairs of shoes..two from Aiva and one Globalite and ordered those..and they came in within 2 days..

Tried them..found the Aiva ones to be fitting well..though both are of different size..and one thing I have noticed off late in the last one year, that my right foot is a little smaller than the left..and the same size shoe is a little loose on the right..have anyone of you ever experienced that ?

So the Globalite one was a pretty turquoise blue and rubber ballets kind..casual ones which would be perfect for the rains..but those were a little tight..and mom said rubber does not expand..so I skipped those..

Got these purple wedges with red satin curls and tan peep toes..I had selected the royal blue wedges but they were picked off super quickly..

I was invited to review the La Senza store and their latest Showw Off Collection..I had mentioned about the new collection HERE
I went to their Phoenix Marketcity store which is also their biggest here space wise..I had been to the launch of this store before and Deepika Padukone had inaugurated it..read HERE
       

La Senza offers women a unique shopping experience with outstanding lingerie presentation in a beautiful and intimate environment, featuring everything from bras & panties, to sleepwear, loungewear, bodycare, and accessories.

The store looks girly at the same time vintagey..the walls painted with quirky messages and pics..and the whole display of stuff around..

Coming to the Show Off Collection, they have divided into three bras Balconnet, Plunge and Demi and into three styles Babydoll, Merry widow and Bustier

All bras from the Show Off Collection have removable pads as per the Indian requirements..ahem..and they are multi way..and can be worn in 7 different ways..this collection is one investment I tell you..

I liked the fact that they have in store fitting measurement and they have selected pieces for trial just outside the trial room in every size..so that all bras are not tried out by all customers..they have a 10 day replacement thing too for bras..for panties there is no trial obviously for hygiene reasons..

And all the sizes are arranged below in drawers with stickers and sizes mentioned just below the display so that the customers can themselves find it too, just in case..

They have this cute and girly card holder pack thing to keep the gift card..and some round pink tins with bows and stuff..

Overall it feels super girly and sexy being around laces, animal prints and polka dots and such vibrant colors and patterns..believe me it does ! 😉

So when I did the Maybelline Dream Range preview, most of you wanted the review of the concealer first..so here it goes..

Application Tips:

Ingredients:

I have the shade Ivory which is obviously light for me..I guess Buff would be a good match for me..but as far as the reviews I have read most of the pale girls also find Nude and Ivory light which is kinda weird..

The twist pen packaging is super easy to use..and the product does come out easily unlike the click one Lakme Absolute Lip Last which many face a problem with..though the first time you need 10-15 twists but then second time onwards it works fine..this is such a travel friendly packaging and perfect for touch ups..

Its a runny liquid and once you apply it, it needs to be blended fast and well..it does give some whitish cast coz its a lighter shade..I am yet to check Buff though..but this does offer good enough concealing..its perfect for those medium dark circles..and the illuminating is visible but not so much that it cannot be used anywhere else on the face..I mean it does not shine through..and it can be used anywhere for spot concealing safely..

Pros:

1. Perfect for concealing medium dark circles and few spots here and there.
2. Click pen packaging is easy to work with.
3. Travel friendly.
4. It does illuminate and lifts up the eyes.
5. Economical.
6. 6 shades to choose from.
7. Stays for around 5 hours..and then starts fading a little but does stay for 7-8 hours in an AC environment.
8. Does not crease or feel dry.

Cons:

1. I am not sure how long 1.5 ml would last.
2. Not easily available everywhere yet.
3. People who prefer thick concealers and have heavy dark circles may not like it.

Overall I think this is perfect..and a must buy..I have not checked out YSL Touche Eclat yet but I have seen many girls compare Maybelline Dream Lumi to yet..so yes to an for an affordable version of YSL !!

I got this floral sheer mint blue kurti with mandarin collar..I checked out many and this was the only one that caught my attention immediately..I ordered the size as per the measurements mentioned on the site..but it was quite loose..and I had to return it..

I though it would be cumbersome..but thankfully it was so easy..I just called them on their toll free number and they raised a return request and gave me a number..I was told it would take 10-15 days..but the whole process took just 5-6 days and I was amazed..

The very next day a reverse pick up was arranged and I got a voucher of the same amount as the order in the next 3 days after the verification…I ordered the same again in a size smaller..and got it the very next day…I am glad it was so easy and fast..

I love the variety of apparel and shoes they have..and that they offer every damn thing you need for !

I only wish Jabong offers more discounts on various products..coz I do not see that as much as on a few other sites…rest with their COD and super fast delivery and returns, its doing great and I am surely shopping again and again 🙂

Marriages Made in Heaven ?

I wanted to participate in the Indiblogger contest..and then totally forgot about it..fortunately it is still accepting entries..

Well actually this is one topic which can be debated endlessly..and you always have people who are in support of either..all of us would be having friends who are in support of love marriages and some who are in support of arranged marriages..and I have even seen some convert with due time 😀

And there are some neutrals who are ok with either.. :p

Coming to the marriages made in heaven thing, do you ever think how would all that have been done ? Like destiny and all..you actually believe that love and arranged all couples are made in heaven ? Or its all written ? It sometimes makes me ponder..but then at the end, are’nt we all made to believe that we are in a particular situation right now coz its already written or pre destined..and at the end whatever happens, is for the good..and most of the people in India even adjust and wait whole their life, for that good ?!

Arranged marriages are seen a lot in a country like India, though the western countries have hardly a few of those..coz its a gamble, deciding on your life partner after meeting once or twice or talking an hour ?! I mean whats the guarantee that the person is actually like that in real life, one can just act up too..ya the family and all might be decent as found out my parents and relatives..but I find it to be a big time gamble..I guess the people in older generations did not mind..but now a days more and more people want to be with someone they already know or can rely on..nah not that arranged marriages do not work that way, you do get time to know each other till the marriage, but you cannot back out later without a good enough reason that is, which as per the elders cannot be ‘compromised’ on..

But ya I have seen good and bad cases of both, frankly good cases of arranged ones..may be coz the mental preparation of compromise is always there on their minds or later they adjust..I really dunno..

Also at times, people catch up the examples around them and keep relating to them, and if they are bad of either case, they feel those type of marriages do not last and feel kinda against them..

I do see the soap on Sony ‘Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage’ and how totally opposite the two best friends Mansi and Shivani are and even separated coz of their misunderstanding and finally get to see each other..
