Sleek MakeUP has come up with new Face Form Palette combining a matte contouring powder, a highlighter and the third being a blush or bronzer depending on your skin tone..they have four variants..Fair, Light, Medium and Dark..the fair variants have a rose gold blush and the medium and dark ones have a bronzer included..

MRP: 8.99£ for 20g

They mention it to be available on sleekmakeup.com from March 2012, I guess that would be October..

This is quite an innovative concept and such stuff which have 2-3 products together or can be multi tasked are so convenient..to carry, to use, finding 10 different things is difficult..and when you need them, you never find them :/

Ingredients:

It comes in standard black Sleek packaging..and comes with a mirror..all the three powder, highlighter and bronzer are soo pigmented..one needs to use it lightly..as it can always be build up later..

Contouring Powder is a matte brick brown
Highlighter is satin finish pale peachy pink/frost white
Bronzer is satin finish orangey gold

Both the bronzer and highlighter have a satin finish but are not shimmery or disco ball types..it can be used subdued or layered as one likes..the texture is satiny soft too..I wonder how Sleek MakeUP always nails it with amazing products, don’t you ?

Pros:

1. Super pigmented.
2. Multi tasking 3 in 1 product.
3. Convenient to use and carry.
4. The qty of 20g would last generations.
5. At 8.99£ for three products, its quite a deal coz their contouring kit and blush separately sums up more.
6. Works as eye shadows too..the matte brown is perfect for crease and blending..and the highlighter for highlighting brow bone.
7. Stays for 5-6 hours without humidity.
8. The bronzer and highlighter are satiny but not shimmery.

Cons:

1. Availability is an issue.
2. Not waterproof..so fades away in humid environment too.

No other cons..this is quite a winner ! Totally recommended. If you are into contouring and highlighting like Kim K., then surely get this..and others who are not but have a chubby face, contouring can work wonders girls..do try

I have been so caught up with everything..the backlog of posts is like ever increasing..I am too late in posting this Vital Orange BB Cream Review..but better late than never..so lets start..Super Plus Triple Functions BB Vital Cream

What the Company claims: Upgraded Sunscreen with UVA and UVB protection SPF50. Strengthen’s skin NMF and maintain balanced skin condition. Osmopur-N and Vital-V Complex soothe and protect skin from harmful environments for a moisturized, healthy skin.

Ingredients:

It comes in the same round chubby tub with pump packaging as the Hot Pink one..it does not have a grey undertone like the Hot Pink but is definitely quite light ! This is more suitable for pale skin..

This gives completely matte finish unlike the Hot Pink which is a little dewy..this would suit oily skin..stays for a good 6-7 hours..and you just need a tiny amount..it gives medium to full coverage and is buildable..I like the fact that it offers SPF50 protection.

Pros:

1. Gives medium to full coverage.
2. Ideal for oily skin as gives a matte finish..and there is no need for touch ups atleast for 4-5 hours..
3. Has SPF50 protection.
4. It claims to maintain a balanced skin condition and soothe and protect skin…well I am not sure of that..but this feels quite light on the skin..and you do not feel as if you are wearing anything..does feel natural..only if there were more suitable shades 🙁
5. Would last a real long time as you need just a tiny bit.
6. Has many good ingredients like extracts of rosemary, chamomile, grapefruit, aloe vera and rice bran oil, soybean oil, rosemary oil,etc
7. Cute packaging and easy to use pump dispensor.

Cons:

1. Too pale for our skin tones..this does not work with blending too..i.e the difference is too obvious.
2. May not suit dry skin.
3. Has parabens.

Overall I love the packaging of these Skin79 BB Creams and how this one gives a good enough coverage and has SPF50..this feels quite light on the skin too..only had it been available in more shades..it would have been a super winner..

If you are pale and have oily skin, grab this now !

Aloe vera, was mostly used to treat various skin conditions and topically heal wounds, back in early Egypt where it was called the ‘plant of immortality.’

What is aloe vera?

Aloe vera, (pronounced alo vera) which is said to have originated from Africa, is a stem-less or very short-stemmed succulent plant with fleshy green leaves.

Aloe vera, which is also called the ‘burnt plant’ with its anti-inflammatory, anti-healing, healing and cooling properties, is the main ingredient in several skin care products. In addition, aloe vera is rich in amino acids, vitamins A, F, C and B.

For years researchers have been conducting studies to learn the benefits of aloe vera and have found that the plant does have properties that can be effective in treating several skin conditions, minor skin infections and also burns and wounds.

Aloe vera gel is the transparent, juicy substance found in the long thick-skinned leaves of the plant. This gel is suitable for all skin types. Even people with sensitive skin can use the aloe vera gel.

Various uses of aloe vera:

Anti-aging agent: Aloe vera protects, nourishes and moisturizes your skin. According to a study published in the Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry magazine, aloe vera, when applied topically, improves the levels of collagen. Aloe vera also protects your face from developing fine lines.

Before going to bed, gently massage a thin layer of fresh aloe vera on your face, around the eyes and the corners of your mouth. This will keep your skin younger looking.

Aloe vera as moisturiser: Apply aloe vera on the skin before the application of make-up. This will prevent your skin from drying. Even men can use the aloe vera gel like an aftershave. The healing properties will help in treating the minor nicks and cuts caused while shaving. During winter your skin tends to dry more often. To keep your skin hydrated, make a mask by mixing equal parts of honey and aloe vera gel (pure extract from the plant) and apply on your face. According to a study conducted by the University of Maryland Medical Center, aloe vera gel has more anti-inflammatory properties than one percent of cortisone cream. It also has strong antibacterial properties, which will heal the skin quickly and naturally with very little scarring.

Aloe vera to reduce stretch marks: Want to get rid of those ugly stretch marks you gained due to weight gain or pregnancy? Hundreds of women try scores of cosmetics to hide these scars, but in vain. Stretch marks are nothing but tiny tears in the skin caused due to sudden and excessive stretching. Aloe vera gel can help you with that. Regular application of aloe vera gel helps in hiding these marks by healing the wounds.

Aloe vera for sunburns: Application of aloe vera gel on sun burns will reduce the pain as well as the swelling and keep your skin moisturised. Recovery will be quicker if your skin retains its moisture.

All the Dream Touch Blushes have fine shimmer…these IMO are best used at night or for parties..since the shimmer might be a little OTT for day time..and not at all for work..

Its super creamy..so much so that a touch would make a dent in the blush 😀 Very pigmented..and does not give too much of a shiny or dewy look, so even if you are oily or combination skin, this would suit you.

It has quite a lot of and visible silver shimmer..so if you have open pores, then I would not advice getting this as it would accentuate your pores..the staying power is good..it stays for 5-6 hours after which the color starts fading but the shimmer stays..

Unblended, Blended

Pros:

1. Super creamy forumla.
2. Would work for all skin tones.
3. 7.5g is a lot of quantity and this would last a very long time.
4. Very pigmented.
5. Stays for 5-6 hours.
6. Perfect for parties or night time.
7. Price is decent for the qty offered.

Cons:

1. Has a lot of shimmer, which stays behind after the color fades.
2. Not for people with open pores, the shimmer would accentuate the pores.
3. Not for day time or formal wear

Overall the shade is a pretty mauve pink and a nice blush for night time..would look good on medium to fair skin tones and works for all skin types..if you looking for one mauve cream blush, do check this out.

I got Sleek Oh So Special Palette..After trying Glory, I wanted to try another Sleek Palette and a Neutral one since I am more into neutrals..and was confused between Storm and Oh So Special since I liked both..somehow Oh So Special appealed a little more..and got it 😉 I also got the Sleek Glo Highlighter in Peach Shimmer..the famous dupe for the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Bricks, Pout Polish in Perfect Plum, Pout Paint in Pinkini and the Rose Gold Blush..the Nars Orgasm Dupe..

Coming to Colorbar, I wanted to try their new launches..so got the Soft Touch Lipsticks in Garnet for me and Rougemarie for mom, Creme Touch Lipstick in Passionate, True Gloss in Vintage Rose and Take Me As I Am Lip color in Flirtatious Pink..
