Garnier Pure Active Neem Face Wash Review

February 5, 2014 By: Bhumika

Garnier Pure Active Real Neem Face Wash Review

What the Company claims: Every day your skin feels impure as it braves pollution, bacteria and excess oil. The result could be pimples and impurities. Purify your skin with Garnier Pure Active Neem face wash, enriched with the power of Neem Leaf Extract and Tea Tree Oil. Skin feels clean, fresh and looks clearer.

How does it work?
The soap-free formula, enriched with Neem Leaf Extract and Tea-Tree Oil, helps prevent pimples through 3 purifying actions:
1. Fights bacteria: Washes away problem causing bacteria to help prevent pimples
2. Fights pollution: Deep cleans pores to remove impurities caused by pollution.
3. Removes oil: It washes away excess oil which can attract dirt, germs and bacteria.

How To Use: Gently massage on damp face using your fingertips carefully avoiding the eye contour area.  Rinse thoroughly. For best results use twice a day.

It comes in a white and green tube packaging with a flip cap..it also has a seal inside..its light green in color with a transparent hue and has a runny consistency..and also has a neem smell.. Himalaya Neem face wash is my HG..so I am used to the smell and don’t mind it.

It foams well..and cleanses the skin thoroughly..skin feels refreshed..but also its a little drying on my cheek area (since I have combination skin) and need a moisturiser after using this. I guess this is perfect for oily skin..as it does control oil…and has tea tree oil which is good for acne..

Since I do not have any breakout right now (touchwood), I am not sure how fast it is in healing acne or if it helps with that..but it definitely did not break me out and kept acne at bay.

Pros:

1. Neem and tea tree oil, two active ingredients of this, are very good for healing acne.
2. Cleanses skin well.
3. Skin feels refreshed.
4. Controls oil.
5. Perfect for oily skin.
6. Economical than other tea tree face wash in the market.
7. Easily available.

Cons:

1. Dry skin would find it very drying…you surely need a moisturiser after this.

Overall I would say its perfect for oily skin..and controls oil and cleanses well..comes in various sizes..and one of the economical tea tree face wash in the market.

Rating:

Quality: 3.75/5
Value for money: 4/5

Overall Rating: 3.75/5

Would I buy it again: Maybe..if and when I need

Have you tried the Garnier Pure Active Neem Face Wash ?

P.S: PR Sample. Honest Review.
