A true base match is something that makes the skin healthy from within as well as makes it look flawless from the outside. So, once you remove the makeup your skin still looks radiant as ever:) Thats my idea of a true base match!!

    – A true base match has to be something that leaves skin nourished & beautiful from within. Something that adds to the skin’s daily nutrients even after ridding all the layers we put up to conceal those minor/major flaws. It has to repair/heal/radiate/glow/rejuvenate/recover while concealing.

A true base match is that which hugs your skin as your second skin and make it radiant and glowing.it should hide all your flaws with benefits of making your skin healthy and have qualities of repairing skin and decreasing wrinkles, fine lines and even reduces spots hyperpigmentation and all.It should improve appearance of skin so that you should not regret using it.when applied it should not look as over done or something.Over all it should provide healthy, glowing and flawless skin from outside and from within too.

A true base match would be
–>something like my “Second skin”, which just vanishes into the skin giving it a uber smooth and even look
–> Should go beyond matching my skin tone and looking natural
–>Nourishes skin and blend on smoothly and giving a healthy glow to my skin but should feel heavy or look cakey
–> Skin should look flawless and stay radiant whole day without any touch ups.

–> While giving me that perfect coverage it should work on improving my skin’s quality to that not only it looks healthy but feels healthy too.

A true base for me is one that moisturises and corrects any problematic skin, covers imperfections and hides them without making my skin feel any different from what it is in it’s natural state. It should be the perfect balance of cover, colour and corrector in one. And I am always on the look out for that perfection in a product.

A true base match for me would be the one that matches/stays very close to my skin color (neither dark nor fair) and evening it out at the same time. One that has long term skincare benefits is definitely a great plus on such as SPF PA++, helps with breakouts, can have pore refining properties etc.

I feel the true base match must be a non-shiny, lightweight textured foundation that gently smoothen and corrects skin tone. It should be easy to blend without being greasy loaded with the moisturizing n sunscreen effect for daytime usage to keep the skin hydrated. An apt mix of essentials vitamins n minerals in the foundation can make the base makeup perfect canvas for the another layer of makeup on it that lasts longer 🙂
