Its a short chubby pencil with the matching shade color at the ends..it comes with its own sharpener..It is not like normal lip pencils..which are usually drier..this is more of a lipstick in pencil form..remember the Inglot AMC Lip Pencil..see HERE but even that is matte..so a little dry..

These Take Me As I am Lip Color Pencils are just like your moisturising lipsticks..they apply with ease..and are very comfy on lips without any dryness or heaviness..they give a glossy finish..which fades away after some time..but the color stays..it stays for a good 5-6 hours..and leaves behind a stain..
The shade 002 Flirtatious Pink is a peachy pink with a hint of brown..this shade would suit most of the skin tones..
Here is it on me..

Pros:
1. Moisturising and there is no dryness or heaviness.
2. Stay for a good 5-6 hours.
3. These pencils have a cute packaging and easy to carry along for touch ups too.
4. Comes with their own sharpener.
5. There are 8 shades available but there is something for everyone..an orange based red, a nude pink, peachy pink, pale pink, wine ,berry, nude brown, etc..
6. Matching ends to identify the shade in case you have more than one..
Cons:
1. Expensive !
2. Would finish off soon..since it needs to be sharpened and causes wastage too.
Overall I do love them..a product which works both as a liner and lipstick and stays so well and is moisturising and can be carried along anywhere for touch ups..these sure are good..I only wish these were priced around Rs. 450-500/- coz the Inglot AMC Matte Pencils are also priced at Rs.680/- and these are higher..

Breast cancer affects people we all know and love so in the tradition of Race for Life we’re calling for all the ladies of the world to show your support and paint your nails pink for Paint for Life Week October 1st – 7th.

Inspired from a competition we ran across our social media sites to design and name a nail polish shade, the partnership was formed when one of our followers told us her story about her mother’s fight with breast cancer. Her idea was to create a pink polish and give it a powerful name related to the fight against cancer.

Our team then worked with her to develop a unique box set consisting of three shades of pink nail polish and entitled it the ‘paint for life trio’.

Each bottle is individually named with ‘hope’, ‘strength’ and ‘love’ – some of the key emotions in the fight against cancer.

I have used the L’occitane Lavender Hand Cream before..and I would have preferred the Crabtree & Evelyn one though..

But nonetheless..all things are good..the toner sounds nice..and I loved the lipstick too..the hand cream is super small and cute and perfect for the handbag 😉 And I do like this concept of getting to try 3 new things every month at the cost of Rs. 399/-

It comes in a light brown see through packaging with a slide across lower compartment which has a mirror and stores a puff..amazingly designed..it sure deserves the most well thought of compact powder title..
The powder is very finely milled and super soft..it blends into the skin easily..and does not look cakey or any obvious effect..the puff is different..made of sponge..and picks up the right qty and goes over well on the face..but it gives light coverage.
As claimed, it actually is mattifying..it gives a completely matte look..and is a boon for oily skinned girls..I generally use it on my T zone..
The shade Sand Medium is a perfect match for me..
Pros:
1. Amazingly designed..this is perfect to carry along anywhere.
2. Super finely milled powder..blends well
3. Gives a completely matte finish.
4. Four shades to choose from.
5. 9g is a lot of quantity.
Cons:
1. Dry skin may find it too matte.
Overall I would highly recommend this to oily skinned girls..this is the answer to your prayers :p For dry skinned, do check it out at the counters first..I am combination..and I use it mostly on my T zone and for touch ups and love it..

Fair & Lovely Scholarship Program has made a difference to the lives of more than 1100 girls

Fair & Lovely Foundation since inception in 2003 has played an integral role in changing the lives of more than 1100 girls; given them wings to achieve their dreams by empowering them through education and career development. Continuing their passion and determination in the 10th year, Fair & Lovely opens doors of hope for girls across the country to pursue their dreams. The Fair & Lovely Foundation is an enterprising initiative by Fair & Lovely, the leading fairness cream brand from Hindustan Unilever Limited, offering scholarship to empower the women of tomorrow.

In its 10th consecutive year, the Fair & Lovely Foundation invites applications from girls across the country for the Fair & Lovely Foundation Scholarship 2012 that allows them to pursue higher education. Like her, the Fair & Lovely scholarship program has played a major role in the success of many young aspiring girls by awarding them with scholarships pursue higher education. The aid is given to promising young girls, who have the grit and determination to overshadow every challenge and obstacle in transforming their lives.
