Lakme Fruit Moisture Skin Renewal Night Cream with Strawberry,Kiwi and Passionfruit Review

Lakme Fruit Moisture Skin Renewal Night Cream with Strawberry,Kiwi and Passionfruit Review

Its a pink colored thick cream with a very strong artificial strawberry scent. Though its thick it does gets absorbed into the skin in a few minutes. It keeps the skin supple and moisturised until the next morning but it does not do anything else. It has this new twisted Lakme packaging..but the only thing is the opening of the tub being narrow at the top..it becomes difficult to take the cream when its half over.

Pros:

1. Keeps skin supple and moisturised.
2. Gets absorbed within a few minutes.
3. Did not break me out.
4. Its more suitable for dry skin or in winters. I guess people with dry skin might like it more.
5. Economical..since the product lasts long.

Cons:

1. Tub packaging and narrow mouth makes it difficult to use when half over.
2. Strong artificial strawberry smell.
3. It does not do anything except keep the skin moisturised..and that even my normal moisturiser when used at night would do..I did not see any change in my skin at all.

Overall its an ok product. But my HG Himalaya Night Cream works more for me and I am quite happy with that.

Rating:

Quality: 3/5
Value for money: 3.5/5
Availability: 3.5/5

Overall Rating: 3/5

Would I buy it again: No

P.S: Product gifted by brand.

I used to use this lakme strawberry cream when i was in my tweens as “growing up” lol. So kind of have some sort of an idea of how this cream works but now I feel like what all of these companies are trying to do is change the packing and give it a new name or new purpose cause with this strawberry lakme cream during my tweens even it didn’t have any SPF so its very easy to say its a “night cream” with some fancy words for marketing reasons. 🙂

@bharti: But the day cream is lighter..since they made this as night cream..its a little heavier..
@shri: I suggest u try the Himalaya one if u havent..
