Clean and Clear Blackhead Clearing Daily Scrub Review

February 18, 2011 By: Bhumika

I do not suffer from blackheads but whiteheads I do get sometimes..I wanted to try this scrub..so I got the small tube of it..

What the Company claims : A unique blend of micro-scrubbing beads works to break down trapped dirt, oil and dead skin cells that can cause blackheads. Next, the natural apple extract formula penetrates deep down into the pores to help soften stubborn blackheads and prevent new ones from forming. Its gentle exfoliating action gives you visibly less blackheads in just 3 days for a clean, clear and beautiful skin. Visibly less blackheads in 3 days !

MRP: Rs.27/- for 20g, Rs. 49/- for 40g and Rs. 90/- for 80g

Ingredients are not mentioned in the smaller tube but there on the bigger one.

Its a light blue face wash cum scrub..wit tiny blue colored particles..It contains Salicylic Acid and Green Apple which are very good for people with acne and oily skinned..and helps in exfolaition and clearing up faster.
I use it more as a face wash and super love it coz its so tiny and i carry it along in my bag..I feel instantly fresh and clean after using it. Since I do not have blackheads I dont know of its claim of visible difference in 3 days..but I sure love it as a face wash.

Pros:

1. Gives an instant clean and fresh feeling.
2. Has nice green apple smell which lingers on for a while.
3. Tiny packaging..super easy to carry it around…very travel friendly.
4. Economical.
5. Scrubs also along..so exfoliation is a plus.
6. Mild enough for daily use and for people wit sensitive skin.
7. Did not irritate or sting or break out.
8. Only a teeny weeny bit is required.

Cons:

1. None..sorry I could not find any..except if it lives upto its claims..no blackhead clearing scrub would work 100 %..proper skin care is required over a long time..

Rating:

Quality: 4.5/5
Value for money: 5/5
Availability: 5/5

Overall rating:  4.5/5

Would I buy it again: Yes…but the smaller one only..as its my perfect travelling partner..1 wash and I am ready 🙂

Have you tried the Clean and Clear Scrub ??
