L’Oreal Paris Mat Magique Compact Powder Review, Swatches, FOTD

Hi guys,

L’Oreal Paris India is on a roll and launching a lot of new products, the latest being the Mat Magique Compact Powder. Just 2 months ago they launched the Infallible range which had the Infallible 24H Powder Foundation too. And now a new range of compact powders 😀 Well, we are not complaining 😉

What the Company claims: With 5 shades, specially created to suit Indian skin tones, Mat Magique compact blends smoothly into your skin to give an impeccable coverage without looking cakey. At a special price point of just Rs. 399, L’Oréal Paris Mat Magique compact is easy to apply and frees you from touch ups, every time you decide to go out. The new compact from L’Oréal Paris is also enriched with SPF 34 PA+++ to help protect your skin from the sun and make it look blemish free, healthy and radiant all day long.

INNOVATIONS & INGREDIENTS
Mat Magique compact – It’s the Matte that does it all! Infused with Volcanic Perlite Minerals Mat Magique compact lets you stay shine-free, worry-free, and flawless for 12 hours.

MRP: Rs.399/- for 6g

Ingredients:

Shades Available: 5

  • G1 Vanilla Ivory
  • G2 Golden Ivory
  • G7 Golden Amber
  • N2 Nude Vanilla
  • N6 Nude Honey

More details HERE

I have the shades G2 Golden Ivory and N6 Nude Honey which are like the closest match for me, G7 Golden Amber is the darkest shade and N2 Nude Vanilla is the lightest.

At first, I love the transparent and pink round packaging, it looks pretty on your table or in your bag too. The bottom base is also transparent and you have the mirror and a round, white thick sponge in the lower compartment. Now the mirror being in the lower compartment and the product on upper, it would be a bit of a struggle to take the sponge and go up and down again and again. Outside India, it had a rectangular packaging with sponge and powder on each side and mirror on the front.

L- Golden Ivory, R- Nude Honey

I am glad that the shades are all warm and suitable for Indian skin tones! Most of the products including the previous Infallible 24H Powder Foundation were a bit light and gave a strong whitish cast. Thankfully, these ones match Indian skin tones perfectly and do not look white or ghastly at all.

L- Golden Ivory, R- Nude Honey

And SPF34 PA+++ is the highest protection I have seen in a compact powder yet! Kudos to L’Oreal Paris for adding in such high sun protection factor.

Coming to the coverage and staying power, it gives light to medium coverage which is perfect for daily use. It stays on for quite a few hours and absorbs oil and shine for almost 5-6 hours and keeps it at bay, thanks to the Volcanic Perlite Minerals. Post 5-6 hours, you notice a bit of shine but not too much, just a touch up with this and you are again sorted for few hours.

It is not very powdery or not too drying, but it is not creamy either. If you have dry patches on your face and you use this compact without using a moisturiser, then it will cling to the dry patches. But in a hour or two, it won’t feel dry coz it balances with the skin’s natural oils.

The price point of Rs.399/- is amazing!! Absolutely happy with L’Oreal Paris to keep the price low, it is one of their rare 2-3 products that are priced below Rs.500/- 😀

And coming to the shades, I have Golden Ivory and Nude Honey. Golden Ivory is slightly light for me and Nude Honey is slightly dark. But these powders oxidize a little bit during the day and hence Golden Ivory settles to match my skin.

Here are the swatches..

L- Golden Ivory, R- Nude Honey

I am wearing Golden Ivory here.

Wearing Golden Ivory

Overall, I am very happy with these compact powders. They have everything you could ask for in a compact from coverage to staying powder to keeping oil at bay to sun protection to the perfect shades and price. Highly recommend them! And they would work for all skin types.

Lakme Absolute Matte Lip Pouts Review, Swatches

Lakme Absolute Matte Lip Pouts Review, Swatches

Hi guys,

I mentioned about the launch of the new Lakme Absolute Lip Pouts HERE. They have launches it in 6 matte and 10 creme shades. The matte shades are out already and the creme ones would follow soon.

What the Company claims: Lakme Absolute Lip Pout are a playful take on lip tints with excellent colour pay off. Lip Pout is your go-to lip tint for that effortlessly vibrant and playful look. So play with your pout & experiment with different lip trends.

MRP: Rs.650/- for 3.5g

Shades Available: 6

Tangerine Touch
Scarlet Rose
Magenta Magic
Raving Red
Pink Fantasy
Victorian Rose

Today I am reviewing the shades Tangerine Touch, Pink Fantasy and Raving Red.

On the pencils, they mention ‘Lip Tint’, I guess it is their old product Lakme Absolute Lip Tints which they have now re launched in these matte and glossy Lip Pouts version with a new name.

These come in a lip crayon format and have a twist up mechanism. The outer colors are according to the shades and all have a silver cap. The crayon format is very travel friendly too.

The texture and finish of this is completely matte and it kind of reminds me of the Inglot AMC Lip Pencils. These are decently pigmented but as expected very dry. You will definitely need a lip balm underneath and they are very unforgiving if you have dry lips and will accentuate them. So scrubbing lips is a must with these.

They stay for around 5-6 hours but do not survive meals, thankfully they fade off evenly. I think I expected more in terms of staying power and pigmentation. They transfer 1-2 times at first when they are not set which takes some time.

Pink Fantasy is a blue based rose pink

Tangerine Touch is a bright orange

Raving Red is a pinkish red

L-R: Tangerine Touch, Raving Red, Pink Fantasy

The colors are not something very unique or different, the usual normal basic shades, I feel there should have been 1-2 more shades like mauves, plums or bright Ruby Woo kind of red.

L-R: Pink Fantasy, Raving Red, Tangerine Touch,

I swatched the Pink Fantasy first, hence it looks better on the lips. By the time I swatched Tangerine Touch last, the scraping/removing the previous swatches made lips very dry, hence the Tangerine one looks patchy.

Here are these on me..

L-R: Tangerine Touch, Raving Red, Pink Fantasy

I also like Magenta Magic and Victorian Rose and would love to try those too. I absolutely love matte lipsticks and Pink Fantasy is my favourite out of these three, followed by Tangerine Touch.

I am so glad these are priced at Rs.650/- coz all new Lakme Absolute launches have been priced at around Rs.800 since quite some time.

Overall I would say, I am very happy that Indian companies are coming up with matte lipsticks and these convenient crayon forms. I only expected a bit more in terms of shades and staying power, I hope they come up with more shades. But at least they are priced decently, these are already out in the market and also available online.

Revlon Nearly Naked Makeup & Pressed Powder Review,Swatches,Demo

Revlon Nearly Naked Makeup & Pressed Powder Review,Swatches,Demo

Revlon recently launched their Nearly Naked Makeup range in Mumbai last month where got to see the products and try them first hand and also we learnt a few things about the ingredients, etc and the celebrity Makeup Artist Bianca Harkopf told us more about the foundation and how she uses it. I have been using the foundation and powder since some time and here are my two cents on it.

Revlon Nearly Naked Makeup

What the Company claims: The ultimate lightweight makeup! Formulated with weightless pigments, this refreshingly light formula melts right in creating a fresh, even complexion. Works in harmony with your skin to cover flaws and perfect tone and texture.

Key features:
Naturally flawless complexion
Creates a fresh, even look and covers flaws
Blends seamlessly with buildable coverage for a natural finish
SPF20
Has green tea, black tea, oatmeal and jojoba oil

MRP: Rs.750/- for 30ml

Shades Available: 3

  • Shell- For light skin tones
  • Fresh Beige- For medium skin tones
  • True Beige- For darker skin tones

I have also recorded a video talking about both the Foundation and Powder and also has a demo.

Revlon Nearly Naked Makeup i.e. the Liquid Foundation comes in a square glass bottle packaging with a white cap, and unfortunately, without a pump. So one has to dispense the product directly from the bottle and it gets very messy and unhygienic and also leads to wastage of product. The glass bottle is also not travel friendly.

It is neither too thick nor too runny and blends easily on the skin. It gives a dewy finish and coverage wise it gives light to medium coverage. As the range goes ‘Nearly Naked’, it is true to its name and gives a nice, even , dewy skin and lets the skin breathe without clogging the pores but yet smoothens out the pores. It is ‘My Skin But Better’ kind of finish.

It stays for about 7-8 hours easily but I need to powder the T-zone and oily skin will need 1-2 touch ups with powder through the day. I love dewy finish and usually skip powders, so I absolutely love the finish of this. If you have heavy dark circles or acne scars, you will need to cover those with a separate concealer.

I have the shades Shell and Fresh Beige here. Fresh Beige is a good match for me.

L: Shell, R: Fresh Beige

I have used only the foundation here in this Before – After pic

Before – After

It has SPF 20, which is an added benefit if you are indoors or forgot using your sunscreen, though SPF 20 is not enough and does not replace your sunscreen. Even though this foundation has SPF, it photographs really well and does not give a whitish cast in pictures. Also it does not oxidize much, but does adjust to your skin tone in some time.

I even skipped the moisturizer and my skin did not feel dry at all, it is quite hydrating. It would work for all skin types with a little touch up for oily skin. Overall, it is perfect for everyday use for light to medium coverage. It is priced very economically and would last quite some time.

Revlon Nearly Naked Pressed Powder

What the Company claims: Makeup so refreshingly light it melts right in, creating a fresh, even look. Our pressed powder blends so seamlessly with such a lightweight feel, you may forget you’re wearing any makeup at all.

• Evens skin tone
• Non-cakey formula provides a shine-free finish
• Available in 3 shades for varying skin tones

MRP: Rs.725/- for 8g

Shades Available: 3

  • Fair
  • Medium
  • Medium Deep

Revlon Nearly Naked Pressed Powder comes in a long, rectangular white packaging. It has a see through round plastic on top where one can see the powder which will not be a very pretty sight once it is half used :/ It has a small rectangular mirror on one side and a tiny rectangular puff on the powder side.

I am not very happy with the packaging, not at all travel friendly and the tiny puff is impossible to use on the entire face unless you spend a lot of time. The classic, round packaging would have still been better!

L- R: Fair, Medium Deep

The texture of this powder is what compensates the packaging. It is soft as butter and super creamy, it does not feel like a powder at all. You will not even get the usual stray powder when you dip a brush in it as it on the creamier side unlike other dry powders.

The coverage is quite light but it does even out the skin tone and mattify the skin. It also smoothens the pores and gives the face a polished look, which is seen in very few powders. My Inglot AMC Pressed Powder was one such creamy powder.

L: Medium Deep, R: Fair

I prefer using a brush as it takes forever with this tiny sponge. I have the shades Fair and Medium Deep. I thought Medium would be a better match for me and Fair will be very light. But since the coverage is not very high, Fair did work well and it did not look very light. I am going to try using the Medium Deep for contouring, would let you know how it works.

At Rs.725/-, this one is priced slightly higher but the quantity and quality is quite good. I would have definitely preferred better packaging though.

Overall I would say if you are looking for a daily use pressed powder but which is not drying and gives a nice, creamy finish and evens out the skin tone or something to set your makeup, you should check the Revlon Nearly Naked Pressed Powder.

To sum it up, I am very happy with both the Foundation and the Powder, only not happy with the packaging and less number of shades. I would say go and try it out at the store and find your perfect match. If you are medium skin toned, then both the Powder and Foundation in Medium & Fresh Beige respectively would work for you.

New Maybelline Baby Lips Spiced Up Review,Swatches

New Maybelline Baby Lips Spiced Up Review,Swatches

Baby Lips Spiced Up not only gives your lips the moisture it needs but does much more.

Listed are a few benefits:
• Deeper shades to suit Indian skin tones
• Stronger flavors to suit Indian tastes
• 12 hours of intense moisture
• Soft lips
3 variants: Berry Sherbet, Tropical Punch and Spicy Cinnamon
• Enriched with SPF 20 to protect your lips
• Priced at Rs. 175

Now you must have read a lot of reviews on Maybelline Baby Lips in general, then they launched the Electro Pop Range. And now Maybelline India has come up with the new Spiced Up Range and all three shades are quite suitable for Indian skin tones.

I like the packaging how the tubes match the shades, pinker one with pink and berry one with berry. I have always liked Maybelline Baby Lips as they somehow have worked for me and really soften my most dry lips and also these are not very glossy or slippery, so perfect to wear under a lipstick too.

The shades I am reviewing today are Tropical Punch and Berry Sherbet.

Tropical Punch is on the pink side, but not barbie pink or neon pink, a proper true deep pink

Berry Sherbet is obviously a nice berry shade, not very deep though

Top- Berry Sherbet, Bottom- Tropical Punch

And the third variant is Spicy Cinnamon which on the brown side and the most pigmented and deepest. I would highly recommend Spicy Cinnamon for everyone with a wheatish complexion i.e. NC 40 and above. It looks beautiful on warm skin tones! You won’t feel you are wearing a lip balm coz it is almost opaque and pigmented like a lipstick.

I love both Tropical Punch and Berry Sherbet too, I am only using this when I am heading out and I don’t want to wear a lipstick. It will work for pigmented lips too unlike most sheer lip balms. It keeps the lips moisturized for 4-5 hours and then you can always re-apply. It is easy to carry and very travel friendly. I have one Maybelline Baby Lips in each of my hand bags, like literally 😀 The additional sun protection of SPF 20 is a bonus.

Here are the swatches:

Top- Berry Sherbet, Bottom- Tropical Punch

At 175, these are economical and a value for money! Totally recommended.

MRP: Rs.700/- for 30ml

Claims & Directions:

Shades Available: 6 (5 Yellow,1 Pink)

Ingredients:

I have it in the shade OC30 which is the darkest in the shades available and is fortunately a perfect match for me. Most of the girls complain about the shades as ZA does not have darker shades in foundations as they are made for Asian skin, but thankfully they are going to launch special shades for India next year.

I love this small, tiny bottle packaging. It is super handy to carry, does not occupy too much space and is light unlike the glass bottles which also have a risk of breaking.

It has a nozzle tip which is the best idea. We can get the exact quantity of product required and is more precise than a pump too.

Coming to the texture, where should I start from! It is the most light weight foundation I have ever tried. It is water based and very, very light. It is runny and blends seamlessly. You will not feel you have any foundation on, since it is water based and so light.

Plus the finish is exactly how I like, soft and dewy. It gives medium coverage, so if you have any acne scars, etc, you will need a separate concealer for that as it will not cover heavy scars. But for evening out skin tone and covering redness and giving a nice, healthy, dewy looking skin, this is perfect!

I usually use tinted moisturizers on a daily basis and hardly foundations as I don’t like the heavy feel on the skin. But ever since I have got this, I am only using this whenever I am heading out.

Here is my Before-After

As you can see, it has covered redness and evened out the skin tone, plus covers some amount of scars and under eye circles too.

Pics with complete makeup..

As it has SPF17 PA++. it gives some amount of extra sun protection too. It does exactly all that it claims- the hyaluronic acid gives the skin a plump finish, the micro pearls actually give a nice glow, oil free and water based so no clogging of pores and perfect for all skin types from oily to dry.

Also it is very economical at Rs.700/- for 30ml, I have been using it since quite a lot of time and I think I still have 50% remaining. You don’t need a lot of product in one use.

It is available online on Nykaa too (Buy HERE)

Overall, I would say it is my current favourite and the most light weight foundation I have ever used. I love water based products, if you have oily skin and all foundations clog your pores, then this one is a definite try for you. And if you have dry skin and are looking for something which will give you a nice, dewy, healthy looking skin, then again this one is a definite try. Highly Recommended!

The Color Show Lip Colors provide you with a range of shades which have the right amount of moisture, a sweet fragrance and stay true without drying up your lips just for Rs. 299/-

MRP: Rs.299/- for 3.9g

I am not sure if there are 27 shades or 32 shades, or maybe they have added 5 new shades.

Here are the 27 shades..

Maybelline’s Color Show range, whether it be nail paints or lipsticks, is a big hit! Coz they offer so many shades and are so economical plus they offer quality too!

Today I am reviewing the shades Fuchsia Flare,Orange Icon, Red Rush and Cherry Crush.

Fuchsia Flare is from the Pink family, Orange Icon is from the Brown family and Red Rush and Cherry Crush from the Red family.

To start with the packaging, they come in a black packaging with a thin transparent strip in between which denotes which color family the shade belongs to, isn’t that cool and makes it easy to identify too unless of course if you have more shades from the same color family.

They have a nice, sweet candy smell which I love. The colors are super pigmented and glide on like butter. All the shades are true to its names. They have a creme finish, so neither glossy nor matte.

L-R: Fuchsia Flare,Orange Icon,Red Rush,Cherry Crush
Clockwise from left: Fuchsia Flare,Orange Icon,Red Rush,Cherry Crush

These swatches are just 2 light swipes.

L-R: Fuchsia Flare,Orange Icon,Red Rush,Cherry Crush

They stay on for 3-4 hours and leave behind a stain, especially the darker colors. They can survive light snacks and drinks but not full meal. Also these are not transfer proof.

Here are these on moi..

Clockwise from left: Fuchsia Flare,Orange Icon,Red Rush,Cherry Crush

Fuchsia Flare is a true blue based fuchsia pink ( no hint of neon)

Orange Icon is a light orange color. It reminds of those orange wedges shaped sweets we used to get as kids and also orange gola 😀 It is slightly on the sheer side and goes a bit patchy.

Red Rush is a deep warm red which makes you teeth look whiter. It is the most pigmented of the lot.

Cherry Crush is a super pretty carrot pink..my favourite of the lot.

Overall, I would say these are perfect in terms of pricing, quality, quantity, pigmentation, shades available. I have no cons for these, the staying power could have been better but then no creme finish lipsticks stay longer than that anyway. Highly recommended!!

Oriflame The One Colour Unlimited Lipsticks Review,Swatches

Oriflame The One Colour Unlimited Lipsticks Review,Swatches

What the Company claims:

MRP: Rs.499/-  for 1.7g

Shades Available:8

  • Violet Extreme
  • Pink Unlimited
  • Mocha Intensity
  • Fuchsia Excess
  • Forever Plum
  • Endless Red
  • Always Cranberry
  • Absolute Blush

I am reviewing the shades Fuchsia Excess and Endless Red today.

It comes in a sleek and slender grey and black packaging..only disadvantage of this packaging is you always get lipstick on the edges when you swivel it up and down. Also, this type of packaging mostly has less qty of lipstick like this one has only 1.7g

These are very moisturising, you don’t need any lip balm of any sort with these. They have sheer to medium coverage and you will need 2-3 swipes for opaque coverage especially for pigmented lips.

These are very glossy and shiny and mostly all the shades are pink and plum based, so I assume this range is targeted more towards the younger category.

It stays for 2-3 hours and I am a bit disappointed with the staying power, reading the 10 hour claim, but very easy to use and touch up. It does not bleed or stain teeth and you can quickly apply it anywhere.

Fuchsia Excess is a pretty blue based fuchsia pink,no neon here, pure fuchsia pink

Endless Red is a wearable, not too bright, light apple red with some fine shimmer

Top- Fuchsia Excess, Bottom- Endless Red

Here is it on me..

Left- Fuchsia Excess, Right- Endless Red

Overall I would say these are nice lipsticks to try, very moisturising, glossy and comes in some lovely shades. If you are looking for something matte or long staying, these are not meant for you. Also, Oriflame lipsticks are mostly on discounts, so do keep a check on the catalog and buy them on discount as they are a bit expensive at Rs.499/- for the quantity of 1.7g

What the Company claims: L’Oréal  Paris  Infallible  Reno  Liquid  & Powder  Foundation  give  you:

-‐  Velvety  matte  finish
-‐  Non-drying  texture
-‐  Optimal  coverage
-‐  24H  flawless  wear
-‐  Shine  Control

Left: 160 Sand Beige, Right- 225 Beige

Shades Available: 4

MRP: Rs.1250/-

Check out the review, swatches and demo of the L’Oreal Paris Infallible Reno Liquid Foundation HERE

Today I am reviewing the shades 160 Sand Beige and 225 Beige of the Infalible Reno Powder Foundation. I am not sure why it is ‘Infalible’ instead of ‘Infallible’

To start with the packaging, the upper part is plastic and quite light. It comes in transparent crimson packaging with a see through cap. The lower part has a sponge and mirror which is something quite nice, as the sponge is in a separate compartment so it does not get mixed with the powder even if you use it wet and the mirror is so handy while travelling and for touch ups. Though I wish the packaging was a bit sturdier coz this might break, even if it falls down once.

The texture is very fine, though it is not the smoothest. It can be used wet or dry. I prefer using a brush when I am using it dry and the sponge it comes with when using it wet.

Left: 160 Sand Beige, Right- 225 Beige

It gives light coverage when used dry and a little more medium coverage when used wet. It is completely matte and there would be no trace of shine on your skin when you use this. This will be a boon for people with oily skin.

Left: 160 Sand Beige, Right- 225 Beige

Since I prefer dewy finish and I am not a fan of matte, I do not use powders often except for my T-zone. Also you will need to moisturise really well before using this, as it accentuates dry patches.

The main con for me is the white cast! 🙁 It gives a strong white cast, especially in photographs.

160 Sand Beige is supposed to be lighter than 225 Beige,as shown in the Shade Options available online. But somehow Sand Beige is a better match for me and 225 Beige appears lighter on me. Even in the swatches, Sand Beige is a little more yellow and that matches well with my skin tone.

Here I have used both 160 Sand Beige and 225 Beige wet with the sponge.

160 Sand Beige (Left- With Foundation, Right- Without Foundation)
Makeup with 160 Sand Beige as a base
225 Beige (Left- With Foundation, Right- Without Foundation)
Makeup with 225 Beige as a base

225 Beige is lighter and looks even more light with the whitish cast, as you can see.

I am not generally a fan of using powder foundations wet, unless you are out and don’t have any liquid foundation and are heading to a party or a function and need some coverage. I generally prefer using powders on them when for daily basis or as a setting powder.

It works well on its own and amazing as a setting powder, only when used wet, it gives a whitish cast which I don’t like. I would recommend the shade 160 Sand Beige for mostly all of us with medium skin tone and yellow undertone.

Overall,  I would say it’s a nice powder foundation which is perfect for travelling and a boon for oily skin. It works really well as a setting powder too and also amazing for touch-ups. I would not recommend it for dry skin or if you want to use it wet.

I was trying and testing out the L’Oreal Paris Infallible Reno Liquid Foundation for you guys since quite some time now. So let’s get on to the review.

It comes in a glass bottle with a transparent red cap which has shade numbers on the top. The bottle is a bit heavy, but not too heavy. It comes in a square packaging and has a black pump inside.

It is liquidy and runny but thick enough and not water like. It is easy to blend using both brush and fingers.

How I use it is, I take some foundation on the back of my hand and dot my face all over with the foundation and blend it either using fingers or a brush. If you are using a brush, make sure it is a bit damp which will help you blend it more easily since this foundation is on the dry and matte side.

The foundation feels completely matte on the skin, there is no shininess or dewiness with it. If you have dry skin, I recommend using a moisturiser beneath, but even if you don’t, this won’t feel stretchy on the skin, though the finish might be better with a moisturiser and it may not accentuate dry patches.

For people with oily skin, this is a boon. It stays matte for a good 4-5 hours for someone with dry/normal skin and then you need to blot some oil or shine on your face with a powder. For oily skin, you will need to blot it in 2-3 hours maybe, but once blotted, you will get the matte effect back.

It stays for almost the whole day, though the finish would look slightly dull at the end of the day i.e after 9-10 hours. It is almost transfer proof, though if you are sweating or have some shine on the face, it would transfer a bit on the tissue.

I am glad that it comes in 11 shades and has shades for both yellow and pink undertones. Though the darker shades are not much, and I found 3-4 shades very, very close to each other with not much difference.

I love the finish of this foundation. It provides medium to heavy coverage with layering. It covers dark spots, redness and also some of dark circles. You can skip a concealer unless you want a flawless finish. I usually don’t use a powder on top and it stays matte and let’s the skin breathe too. I have received quite some compliments with this foundation and even Cory Walia mentioned that I was glowing 😀 I did not reveal this secret though.

Even though it has an SPF of 18, it does not give a white cast and photographs well. Also, the shades are so close to each other, that you can make them work for you, if you choose any of these mid shades, a lot of options for us, wheatish skin tone.

I have the shades 200 Golden Sand, 140 Golden Beige and 220 Sand, all three of which are yellow toned and warm.

I have worn all three shades outside and none looked too light or dark, all three worked decently. If I have to choose, I would say 140 is the match closest to my skin, followed by 200 and 220 is slightly dark.

Overall, these are amazing quality wise and would last you quite long as you don’t need too much product. They give a nice, matte finish and stay put whole day. Perfect for oily skin and would work well for dry skin with a moisturiser underneath. Highly recommended.

Maybelline Rebel Bouquet Lipstick REB04 Review, Swatches

Maybelline Rebel Bouquet Lipstick REB04 Review, Swatches

So, after reviewing the shades REB01 and REB05 HERE, here is another shade.

What the Company claims: Color Sensational presents the NEW Rebel Bouquet collection. A burst of rebellious colour!

Why You’ll Love It
Super-saturated pigments give fresh-picked pastels a bright kick. Sumptuous feel and enriched with honey nectar. 6 vivacious shades.

MRP: Rs.450/- for 3.9g

Shades Available: 6

The packaging is same as the Colorsensational one with a transparent red cap. It is super creamy and soft in texture, and gives a glossy finish. Though it does not glide on easily onto lips, you need to work carefully.

It is not transfer proof and stays for around 3-4 hours but does not survive eating proper lunch, etc. Very moisturising and you do not need any separate lip balm underneath.

Once settled, the lipstick stays put and the glossiness reduces a bit.

While REB01 was an apple red and REB05 a peachy coral, this shade REB04 is kind of a mix. Its a reddish coral shade.

I love this shade! Not something unique, but somehow love how it brightens my face.

Here is it on me..

Overall, I would say the new Maybelline Rebel Bouquet Lipsticks are bright, glossy finish lipsticks that stay for a longer time than usual glossy lipsticks. Comes in 6 pretty red, peach and coral shades. Definitely worth a try. Recommended.
