Top 10 Hottest Curvy Bollywood Divas

Top 10 Hottest Curvy Bollywood Divas

Top 10 Hottest Curvy Bollywood Divas

By Nidhal

Thankfully, the size zero fad is over. We Indians love our ladies with curves. Whatever be your body type – skinny, voluptuous, plus size, athletic or anything and everything else, women have curves, period (let’s not body shame please) and admire the ones who flaunt them tastefully, proudly and uninhibitedly! Ladies, you all have us slobbering. Fitness goals re-chalked and how!

1. Vidya Balan – Unarguably, the lady who had been hounded by the fashion fraternity, media and so-called fans for not fitting into the archetypal Euroepan-model like frame, the way Vidya chose to turn the cards in her favour with ‘The Dirty Picture’ (wherein she owned, flaunted and celebrated her natural curves) had everyone sighing over this South siren. Vidya Balan today is the first actress whose name explodes in one’s mind the minute “curvaceous” is mentioned.

2. Parineeti Chopra – Hounded in the name of being advised for long by every Tom, Dick and Harry for not being “in shape”, Parineeti transformed herself by 180 degrees by opting for a stringent fitness regimen that has enhanced her curves all the more. The baby fat that she had has now made way to toned and taut muscles. And that’s how you shush naysayers.

3. Huma Qureshi – Unapologetic about her naturally voluptuous curves, Huma Qureshi clearly owes no one perfection and is comfortable in flaunting her natural self like no other as evidenced by one of her iconic magazine cover shoots that stands nothing short of epoch- making. A powerhouse performer, she is the textbook definition of voluptuous.

4. Ileana D’Cruz – An angelic semblance and a waistline to kill for, South siren Ileana D’Cruz blends naivety with a dash of notoriety and mischief. No wonder Indian apparel highlights a woman’s curves tastefully and Ileana is no exception to that.

5. Jacqueline Fernandez – She oozes cheerfulness, boisterousness and joy, period. Sri Lankan beauty queen Jacqueline Fernandez has curves to die for. An athletic body frame with curves thrown in at the right places, who says that woman of only a particular body type qualify as curvaceous women? Jacqueline is here to refute you all point blank.

6. Sunny Leone – Unbridled and uninhibited sex appeal with a devil-may- care attitude wrapping it, Sunny Leone aka Karenjit Kaur Vohra has a body that’d leaving many drooling uncontrollably. The way she has shushed all her critics for belittling her previous career by never playing the victim card along with her noticeable and drool-inducing curves certainly raises her desirability quotient by leaps and bounds.

7. Bipasha Basu – Another fitness freak’s on our list and for very valid reason. Bong beauty Bipasha Basu has the quintessential gym-girl look with all her curves adorning her chiselled physique even more. Better hit the gym soon for that body is a work of dedication.

8. Chitrangada Singh – Bearing a strong resemblance to the dynamic performer late Smita Patil, Chitrangada Singh is your classic Indian beauty – big doe-shaped eyes, a warm sun-kissed skin tone that she (thankfully) hasn’t lightened and curves thrown in at the right places. Sultry, sensuous and enchanting, no wonder she leaves mouths agape. Oh by the way, she’s a mommy. Hit the gym, if you didn’t get that!

9. Zareen Khan- She started with Veer Zaara and has lost a lot of weight post that. For her debut Veer Zaara, she lost 30 kg from her original 90kg. She lifts weights and is currently the fittest curviest actress in Bollywood.

10. Bhumi Pednekar- The latest entrant to join the club, she was overweight and had lost all of her weight gradually and then she was offered her debut movie Dum Laga Ke Haisha for which she put on weight. Again her journey of losing the additional weight began, she is quite fit now. But is not stick thin, she resembles an ideal, healthy body.

Editor’s Note: That’s a great list Nidhal, I would add Kareena Kapoor to the list too!

New Launch: Morphy Richards’ Global Range #ConversationStarters

New Launch: Morphy Richards’ Global Range #ConversationStarters

Hi guys,

Few days ago I attended the Morphy Richards’ new launch in India. They brought their global range of products in India.

Prism collection

Morphy Richards is a premium kitchen and home appliances brand. They launched their global range i.e. Redefine, Prism and Total Control. Morphy Richards is known for their smart technology and innovative designs.

Mr. Shekhar Bajaj, MD, Bajaj Electricals and Mr. Anant Bajaj, JMD, Bajaj Electricals presented the new Morphy Richards range to the press and media.

Redefine

Redefine is the new premium, highly innovative product group by Morphy Richards. Driven by principles of innovation and providing exceptional quality, the range is designed to fulfil your need for brilliantly performing products that have equal aesthetic prowess. The USP of the range is the Intelligent ThermoGlass technology that allows you to clearly see your bread being toasted/water being boiled to perfection. I absolutely loved the see through toaster, it definitely is a conversation starter at your home 😀

Prism

Prism collection is a leading iconic design piece for those who do not worry about going against the crowd. The USP of the range is the most striking design with textured finish and vibrant colors and design which is sure to make a statement in your kitchen. Prism collection has to be my favourite in terms of looks. Bright yellow and red toasters and kettles can make any kitchen look strikingly beautiful!

Total Control

The smartest amongst the lot is the Total Control Collection which has a range of products enabling you to prepare food just the way you like it. It uses Smart Response Technology which intelligently controls the motor in a variety of ways, providing the right level of power regardless of the mixture. It will enable you to effortlessly prepare everything from soups and sauces, pestos and cakes delivering exactly the right amount of power as and when you need it. Total Control range is quite multi-functional, one device can be used for a number of uses and for making varied dishes.

All the devices were presented beautifully with the yummy food around and we clicked number of pictures. The whole set up was beautiful!

We also saw Chef Rushina Ghildiyal use all of the appliances in a demo later on. From the soup maker to the stand mixer, toaster, kettle and the table blender (which you do not need to hold from the top, it’s hands free!) The best part about the toaster is that you can do 4 slices together and each side i.e. 2 can be kept at a different setting according to how you like your toast, light or crisp. The stand mixer for dough and soup maker are also very time saving, as you just add in the ingredients, set the time and go about finishing your other work.

We were divided into two teams and we used the appliances ourselves and had 3-4 different activities to do. Beating eggs, making mocktails and smoothies, toasting bread, we did it all. Our team won 😀

Priced between Rs. 6,000 to Rs. 30,000 these products will be made available in the Indian market starting first week of September. They are available for pre-order already.

I am definitely looking forward to it. What about you? Did you like the range? Let me know your favourite in the comments below.

One of the most awe-inspiring religious sites on earth – the Meteora, which is a Greek word meaning ‘suspended in the air’ is a cliff more than 1,200 feet (366 meters) that rises like apostolic eagles’ nests into the air overlooking the villages of Kalambaka and Kastraki in the north central mainland of Greece. This place is dotted with monasteries which were built in and around 14th and 16th centuries. In ancient times, the monks pursuing spiritual isolation and freedom from religious persecution built these monasteries. Even though more than twenty monasteries used to be on the steep rocks, only six remain today.

Athens is widely known as the cradle of Western civilization as well as the origin of democracy for the human advancement. The city is an astounding blend of historical and modern features in the same fold. Among the other famous archaeological ruins and monuments, the Acropolis stands tall. The Acropolis (Greek word which means highest point or extremity) is an ancient citadel located on an extremely rocky outcrop above the city of Athens and contains the remains of several ancient buildings of great architectural and historic significance, the most famous being the Parthenon.

When you are walking around the Athens, you would see the Temple of Olympian Zeus. It is a huge temple and took over 700 years to construct (dating back to the sixth century). The ancient temple as a backdrop and facing the deep blue sea is a sight you would not want to miss at all! The ancient temple as a backdrop and facing the deep blue sea! The sight of the Aegean Sea during the sunset makes it a sought-after spectacle.

7. Santorini –

Santorini is one of the Cyclades islands in the Aegean Sea, was devastated by a volcanic eruption in the 16th century B.C.E. and consider it to be the most spectacular by many travelers. Aside from the beautiful landscape and volcanic presence, it is a great place for beach side camping, winery tours, scuba diving, and more. The place is all about the beauty of the ruins on the southern part of the island. One can see the clear Aegean and beaches made up of black, red and white lava pebbles.

Currency

Greece’s monetary unit is the Euro. No other currency is accepted and you can either convert your Foreign Exchange there or from here. It is also really convenient to convert the leftover Euro to INR. Greece is comparatively cheap with some travel tips.

Travel Tips

Firstly, go for the Gyros and other street snacks which are delicious and cost a few Euros and can keep you full for less than 10 EUR per day. For travelling, choose the moped renting rather than cars. Also, avoid Mykonos if you are on a budget, as it is Greece’s most expensive island with hardly any budget accommodation, but if you are a party animal, you will absolutely love Mykonos. It brings world’s most renowned DJ’s at their famous night clubs. Paradise and Super Paradise beaches at Mykonos are also worth a visit, if you happen to go.

Culture

Existing Greek culture and traditions are very rich and varied, reflecting Greece’s location at the crossing point where the West meets the East and the country’s great and tempestuous history. It has evolved over thousands of years. This rich and tumultuous past greatly influences contemporary lifestyle, the Greek perspective on the world, Greek music, food, customs and traditions, even the way Greeks do business. The locals dress up in traditional costumes during festivals while traditional weddings that start with dressing the bride and bouncing a boy baby on the nuptial bed. One is charmed by their authenticity, the love and pride each group has in its homeland and roots.

Celebrating #WorldInteriorsDay with #AsianPaints

Celebrating #WorldInteriorsDay with #AsianPaints

Hey guys,

If you follow me on Snapchat, you must have seen that day before yesterday I went to the Asian Paints Signature Colour Store in Bandra to celebrate World Interiors Day with them. Actually ‘World Interiors Day’ is today 28th May, but they had a small little workshop 2 days earlier with Film Production Designer Shruti Gupte.

Shruti Gupte has designed for movies like Aisha, Taare Zameen Par, Khoobsurat, The Lunch Box to name a few. She talked about how one can draw inspiration from homes and office spaces designed in popular film and incorporate them in your house and how colours and designs can change your entire space.

The workshop was centered on the theme ‘Intelligent & Inspirational Interiors, from Silver Screens to Your Home’. This Colour Store initiative offered consumers the unique opportunity to bring to their homes, the look and feel that they love, admire and aspire for, from their favorite films. The brand is determined to encourage consumers to take that leap and be experimental and creative with their décor choices.

Shruti possesses a deep understanding of the style and sensibilities of the modern-day consumers. Through examples of her films, she covered various aspects from designing homes of characters in movies, to tips on how consumers can use designs seen in movies as an inspiration while decorating their homes.

She also gave examples from Khoobsurat, Aisha and Taare Zameen Par. For eg.: Vikram Rathore in Khoobsurat had a sad twist in his past and that’s why he had that ‘khadoos’ personality. His room was monochromatic, grey, boring yet he was very organised, so things were in place with proper lighting. Whereas Minnie i.e. Sonam Kapoor was loud and out there. She had a colourful personality which reflected in her room which was lilac and/or lavender both in Aisha and Khoobsurat. When she came to the palace and was given a simple guest room, she immediately made it colourful with all her bright scarves and clothes around the bed, on the lamp, etc.

She mentioned how colors and textures are not to be feared but embraced as part of our personality. How our personal and professional environments are an extension of our personality and should inspire our days, help create memories or convey our aspirations. It’s a simple decision to step out of our comfort zone and experiment. Especially these days, when Asian Paints Color Store allows us to realize our dreams before we choose to make it permanent.

We also had a small activity where we had to pick 4-5 different things from pictures to wall colour to fabric to make our very own mood board. This is what I made 🙂

We also got a DIY kit with some colors, sheets, etc. to experiment and make something of our own, let’s see what I come up with 😀

For those who are always looking for new ideas to do up your personal space with all that’s in vogue and colorful, visit the Asian Paints’ Colour Store, Bandra and you can discuss with the team there, experiment your thoughts and you might come up with something exactly in your mind.

The Asian Paints Colour Store does events on design for consumers so if you are interested, you can reach out and share your details at the store and you would be informed about future events.

Do you take inspiration from movies? Do you experiment with your space?

ENVY ‘After Dark’ Series is a work of art both in fragrance and packaging carefully crafted ultra-modern fragrance to give all the ‘truly arrived’ man needs in a fragrance. Four exquisite variants of Envy ‘after dark’ series are: The Techno – for the man who needs just a glance not his message across who is intense yet sensible. This fragrance masculinity comes from action not words. It consists of fresh notes at the top & heart is composed of woody & sweet notes. The base contains amber, sandal and musk. Now with Techno, intensity has got a new weapon; The Trance–Fragrance for young and for stubborn teenager who just refuses to age. Carefully crafted for irresistible you from Dawn to dusk. Envy Trance is an aromatic spicy fragrance for men with top notes are of bergamot and mandarin with a burst of spices in the middle enriched with richness of amber and sandal at the base. Now the irresistibly young needs NO introduction; The Rock – Head turner, Showstopper has just arrived with Envy Rock, the Modern classic fragrances that evoke sense of wild and unbeatable energy to rock the party. Top notes are fresh spicy, green, with fillings of vetiver, rose and lily of the valley, base notes are musk, sandalwood, patchouli, cedar and oakmoss. Now with ENVY Rock, is the rock star of the party. And the Hip Hop – Energy, masculinity and strength are three cornerstones for ENVY HipHop. It opens with fresh, citrus, green and marine notes while the heart is enriched with jasmine and spices. The base closes with rich sandal and vetiver with the hint of vanilla. Envy Hip-Hop in your side now is ready rule the dark.

Ultra Premium range of Envy After dark series Techno, Trance, Rock & Hip-Hop perfume body sprays are available in an attractive Packaging of 130ml (108g) at Rs 250/- only

True to ENVY brand genesis entire range is pure fragrance and no gas which simply means irresistible you without any wastage.

I love how they have been named after genres of music and have different color for each one. I usually always go for men’s perfumes/deos as they are slightly stronger and I love the smell, also they stay longer than those soft, floral ones meant for women.

Techno is a softer fragrance since its a mix of woody and sweet.

Trance is a medium one, not hard hitting and a perfect balance. My favourite

Rock is strong and hard, it hits you at the first whiff itself.

Hip Hop again is a soft fragrance with the strong accord of jasmine

I love Trance the most, followed by Techno and Hip Hop. But when it comes to long staying power, Rock stays the longest.

I like the fact that these are not gas deos, but actual perfume body sprays and stay a long long time than normal deos.

Definitely recommend trying the Envy Perfume Body Sprays, especially the After Dark Series

Rating; 4/5
