INTRODUCTION – Just when I started working out, I thought of using the Johara Body Firming Anti Cellulite Cream simultaneously because I already have way too many stretch marks around my hips and thighs. I knew that these stretch marks are simply going to aggravate once I start off with full-fledged workout session. Having used the cream for about two months now, here’s my review on the product.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION – Johara Body Firming AntiCellulite Cream is a fresh, light weight, fast absorbing cream that visibly reduces the appearance of cellulite (Orange peel skin) within 4 weeks of regular use. Rich in regenerating & firming plant extracts like Fors LeanCG, Boswellin Super, Cosmoperine, Caffeine & Amaranthus that helps to restore body’s youthful tone & improve firmness & elasticity of the skin. Other ingredients such as Jojoba seed oil, Horse chestnut seed extract (Venocin) & Olive fruit oil revitalizes the skin texture and leaves skin feeling soft and satin smooth.

MY REVIEW

The Johara Body Firming Anti Cellulite Cream comes in a rather large plushy tube which is creamy in color, along with a flip open black cap which is pretty sturdy. The opening of the flip open cap dispenses the right amount of product, avoiding any mess or excess. Though the tube looks slightly big, it is a perfect pick for travelling. It is light weight, sturdy and doesn’t mess up at all. Overall, I really like the packaging.

Coming to the texture and consistency, it is has a creamy consistency which leans on the thicker side. The smell is artificial and creamy but nothing that would hurt the nasal senses. Once you blend the product onto the skin, it simply refreshes with aroma and then fades off.

The cream takes some time to blend but it does merge with the skin with some nice massage. Initially, I simply used to apply and blend and the cream used to look oily on the skin. However, with the passage of time, I thought of massage a good amount and saw that it works better that way. Massaging the cream has its own benefits. Massaging helps in blood circulation in that part of the body and also reduces the stretch marks. Once blended onto the skin, the area feels slightly warmed up which is very noticeable in summer.

Coming to its effect of reducing stretch marks, I didn’t notice anything till a month. I have been quite consistent with the workout but even after losing some kilos I didn’t notice the increasing appearances of the stretch marks. It was simply after 40-45 days when I noticed that the stretch marks around my thighs slowly started vanishing. The skin also looked much toned and even.

However, the perfect toned and firm was still to come. The cream also works slightly on double chin as I notice the pictures looked pretty good as far as the chiseled look is concerned. There was no side effect of the cream on the skin throughout the time I used it.

The ingredient list of the Johara Body Firming Anti Cellulite Cream is pretty impressive. It is enriched with Fors LeanCG, Boswellin Super, Cosmoperine, Caffeine & Amaranthus that are naturally endowed to improve the texture of the cream and provides firmness and elasticity. Abundant quantity of Jojoba, Olive, glycerin and other fruit oils are added which adds a nice layer of hydration to the skin that also contributes to the enhancement. In fact, the product is paraben, sulphate, formaldehyde, synthetic dye free and also halal certified and dermatologist certified – which makes it a perfect pick for sensitive skin as well.

OVERALL – Johara Body Firming Anti Cellulite Cream is an excellent choice if you want to reduce the stretch marks and add a nice layer of hydration to the skin.

Editor’s Note: This sounds quite good, but agree anti-cellulite products do need a lot of time in general to show results.

You know the time when you have been out in the sun for a long, long time and terrible tanned and have an important meeting or event to attend! Well, aren’t those the terrible days,especially when you have a t-shirt or hair band tan line.

Fret not, coz now we have one innovative product which can help us in such SOS cases! Today I am reviewing the new Spinz Sun-Tan Remover Instant De-Tan Cream.

You just need to use a good 9g of this product as a mask, massage it a bit on the skin in small,circular motions and keep it for about 5-10 minutes and wash off. You can use it daily too, untill your skin is completely de-tanned or may be on a regular basis if you are someone who has to be in the sun almost daily, like if you have a job that requires you to travel a lot or you are in college.

It comes in different packaging from a one time sachet to a tube. The tube has white and purple packaging. It is a thick white cream,with an artificial scent but thank goodness, it is quite mild unlike bleaches.

Bleaches are something which burn my eyes instantly and my eyes turn red, even if I have used the mildest beach and the minutest quantity. I am glad this is a ‘No Bleach’ cream, did not burn my eyes and no strong bleach smell too.

The key ingredients of this cream are milk,lemon and honey. Lemon and the lactic acid in milk are especially known to de-tan the skin. Also, honey keeps the skin pH balanced and moisturised. It is dermatologically tested and safe for all skin types.

These pics are from the first time use and I notice some brightness on the skin in one use itself, though I was not very tanned to see a major difference.

Remember, this is NOT a daily wear moisturising cream which will blend into your skin. This is a mask which needs to be washed off after 5-10 minutes and is only used in this way.

You will feel a slight tingling sensation but that is very mild.

Now my skin is such that it takes months and months for the sun tan to completely go away. I saw a marked improvement with the first use,and a little better result on the 2nd and 3rd day. I am quite happy with the product.

If you have to attend a wedding, use it some time before you get ready for the function. And you can pair you fresh de-tanned skin with a pretty anarkali or a net saree with gold eyes and fuchsia/red lips.

Few things to remember:

  • Do not keep it longer than 10 minutes
  • Do not go out in the sun immediately after using it
  • Do not use a face wash/soap for 6 hours

Ok..so as per the claims the serum makes the skin more even and radiant and the cream hydrates and lightens (Not a fan of the lightening claim anyway)

I have been using a combination of these both from quite some time..2-3 weeks around. Both come in a pink packaging..the cream is a normal tub packaging and the serum is twist and pump out dispensor packaging..a few faced issues with the pump..so please check that if possible.

Light Creme is light pink in color.It has a floral baby powder kinda smell. Definitely tightens the skin. The cream provides some basic moisturisation..but also gives a tightening effect to the face. As the name suggests, its quite light in texture and smooth to apply.The serum is very light in texture and feels siliconey on application.. but quite water like and no greasiness or stickiness with it.

It gives a cooling minty sensation for a few minutes. I like how the skin looks smoother and fresh the next morning..I use this serum overnight and have been loving the effect on the face next morning.

I am not sure of the brightening and lightning claim..but it did help me reduce my tan a bit. I was also carrying it for my Beauty and The Blogger Show..and even with 3 hours of sleep, skin looked decent enough on all 3 days thanks to this!

It was travel friendly and easy to carry around..only the serum requires quite a few pumps at times for the product to dispense.

The cream is decently priced and it would last long too..the serum is priced a little on the higher side and would never be able to see the quantity left too.

I am not much a fan of the Light Creme..its a basic regular moisturising cream..but I quite loved the serum. Would definitely recommend the serum.
