Auravedic Reviving Body Cleanser Review

What the Company claims: Put the zing back in bath times with extracts of refreshing lime and ginger .This body wash gently cleanses without stripping away body’s natural oils.

With pure extracts of Lime and Ginger.

MRP: Rs.200/- for 100 ml

Its a transparent gel based body wash with a tinge of yellowness to it.and has that lime ginger smell to it..as its gel based I thought it would not foam much and the same happened with my Body Shop Bath Gloves..it did not foam at all..and I was like I do not even feel as if I am using a body wash..than I tried using a loofah..and voila it worked !! Foamed amazingly well..

Pros:

1. Has all natural ingredients.
2. I kinda liked the lime ginger combo and smell..though I am not a big fan of ginger smell.
3. Did not dry out my skin after use.
4. Works well with a normal loofah.
5. Comes with a stopper..to avoid spillage..the bottle is sturdy enough.

Cons:

1. Did not work with my TBS Bath Gloves.
2. Has SLS.
3. I found it expensive for the quantity.
4. Smell does not stay for long.
5. Available at selected places only..check here

Overall pretty ok..quite a different combo of lime and ginger..those who like that smell should surely try this..you would love it..

I liked all the ingredients in it..loved knowing them more and getting more info from Google..I think this oil has all the perfect and essential good ingredients for the skin.

Its a thick yellow oil and the mountain spice which settles down in the bottle can be seen. It has a strong smell though.

Pros:

1. A perfect blend of essential ingredients for the skin.
2. I liked the fact that all the ingredients were stated with %.
3. Its a nice body massage oil and perfect for using it before bath.
4. Has a flip cap bottle which is easy to use.
5. Moisturises skin well and keeps it supple…and would suit dry skin more..though I feel its little greasy for summers.

Cons:

1. Its a little thick oil and takes a lot of time in absorbing completely..its good for winters.
2. Has a strong herbal spices smell.
3. This is a body oil and at 100 ml quantity it would get used up in 3-4 times if used all over the body..and hence the price of 250 is a little expensive..or I think they should increase the quantity.
4. Availability in other States is an issue.
5. I am a little sceptical about the preservatives written at the end.

Overall I liked the herbal and natural ingredients in the skin and love the quality of it.

When I received it, it was a little damaged..so I had to write all the things as it was not clearly visible. But this product was not there on site…so I had to add this pic..excuse the tedha medha bottle..

Its a thick white lotion and the bottle has a plastic cap inside. As you must have read the ingredients you must have known the main smell would be of ylang ylang oil. Its super strong and a mix of all the ingredients but predominantly of ylang ylang oil and nutmeg oil. It gets absorbed in a jiffy and soothes the skin. You can feel the cooling sensation. It cools the eyes too…though it is advised to keep out of eyes…so one should be careful.
Pros:

1. Gets absorbed fast as it has Kokum Butter which helps in absorbing and rejuvenate cells.
2. Skin feels supple and moist.
3. Gives that relaxing, cooling feel to the skin.
4. I also use it as a night cream and skin is smooth and soft the next day.
5. NO parabens.
6. All ingredients are listed.
7. Natural ingredients and essential oils which help replenish the skin.
8. Comes in a bottle..so no jar or dipping hands.
9. Did not break me out.

Cons:

1. Has a very strong smell..sensitive nose should stay away from this.
2. Availability is a problem with other States in India.
3. May not suit oily skin as it has butters and oils…would not break them out but might be greasy for them.
