Styled by the Saks Art Team for the forthcoming festive season, this chic hair show made a style statement and helped SAKS embark on their Indian journey. Choreographed by Marc Robinson and wardrobe styled by Gavin Miguel, the show was hosted in the sprawling and luxurious 6,000 sq. ft. unisex salon on Waterfield Road, Bandra, Mumbai.

SAKS, UK’s leading hair and beauty salon group with over 1 million customers and with over 200 salons across UK launched in India offering unique and very exclusive services and treatments with a super-premium ambience and contemporary and classy décor. The all-white décor promises a soothing and calming effect while the tastefully done spa and mani-pedi rooms promise complete relaxation and stress-relief. Saks Hair & beauty has exclusively tied-up with Elemis UK’s leading luxury spa to offer signature face and body therapies, facials and massages for men & women to treat anti-ageing, face-lifting and skin lightening.

Capturing the essence of Autumn/Winter and focusing on exaggerated shapes and multi-textured and mixed fabrics, amplified by fashion trends, the Saks Art Team created this season’s ultimate hair trends – The Streets. What the Company claims:

MRP: Rs. 550/-

Lakme had launched their Lip Love lipsticks last December…these are by far the costliest lipsticks Lakme has..but are they worth it..read on..

They have this metallic red ‘love’ embossed packaging..even the lipstick bullet has LOVE written on it..:p But the packaging is quite sturdy and nice and not the usual Lakme..

They come in 12 shades and have both lighter and darker shades to choose from..They have SPF 16 and are super creamy and hydrating.

The shade Aphrodite Blush is a peachy brown shade..which goes from a light to dark as its quite buildable..it can look more on the brown side on a few..

And here is how it looks on me..

Pros:

1. These are quite pigmented..you need just a single swipe for the color which you can build up depending on how you like it.
2. Very creamy and moisturising.
3. Feel super light on lips.
4. I liked the packaging…and its quite sturdy too.
5. They do not have any particular taste and just a light scent.
6. SPF 16
7. These stay on for 2-3 hours on my lips which is fine.
8. These do not settle in my fine lines and do not accentuate them.

Cons:

1. Expensive…but these are quite good quality wise.
2. I would have liked more shades..in fact pinks and corals.

Otherwise no cons..I quite like them..and for the above question..yes these are totally worth it !

Would I buy it again: Yes..And I would recommend the shades Rose Kissed and Love Haze for everyday shades..Wine Whisper and Plum Pout if you like plums..
