Now this thing does not have a proper name..but its a flexible spring which picks up small hair..and pulls them out as you fold it in the other direction..this is so small and handy..

How to Use:

I quite like it..its so easy to use..and very useful for the upper lip area especially..it does hurt a little..but the same as in tweezing..coz the basic thing they do is pull out hair from the roots..

These are quite cheap too..I got it for a dollar..the price may vary depending from where you buy it..these are available on many international sites as well as on ebay.

I can carry it along with me wherever I want..they don’t need batteries or anything at all..use it anywhere anytime 😉

Plum Wine is a deep berry pink shade…though does not have any plum in it :/ the staying power of these is amazing ! In fact the swatch was not ready to budge from my hand too :/

Pros:

1. These are super pigmented.
2. Available in 70 colors..you name it and they have it.
3. Staying power is quite good..it stays for a good amount of time and the tint stays the whole day.
4. These are creamy but not very moisturising..you would need a lip balm beneath.
5. Very economically priced.
6. No. of finishes available from frosty.shimmer to matte.

Cons:

1. These feel a little drying.
2. Packaging is ok but with the price I guess its fine.
3. Availability is an issue in India. You can buy them here

Overall I do like it..for the pigmentation and the staying power..but it would be better if these were moisturising too..

I had posted about Akshay Kumar being the Brand Ambassador for Sure Men in India here

The Sure Men range consists of 5 different variants namely Invisible Ice, Ice Cool, V8 , Quantum and Sport Defence. All these variants are available in packs of 150 ml aerosol cans at Rs. 150 and 40ml Roll On at Rs. 65

Now you would be thinking how come I am using Men’s Deos..well I do use Men’s Deos many a times coz they stay much longer than Women’s Deos which are too light and the freshness goes away in a few hours.

Now though it claims to be Anti Perspirant..nothing can stop the natural process of sweating..so even though it would not the sweating but yes it would keep you away from odour and smelling fresh all day long..

Ingredients:

The Invisible Ice is the only one offering 24 hour protection..rest all are 48 hours..though one can never check :p It is the lightest smelling of the three..I use this..I also liked Ice Cool…My brother used the Quantum one which is the strongest of the three..and he had the same thing to say…that it keeps you odour free all day long.

And I also liked the fact that they come with a lock on top…named 0 and 1…and its to be unlocked and sprayed and then locked again..It does not have a separate cap but the spray opening on the other side of the lock..

These are economically priced too at Rs. 150/- for 150 ml..I quite liked them and would surely buy again..especially the Invisible Ice and Ice Cool..

Now there is a story behind this brush set..Mineralissima had a giveaway on facebook when they reach 1000 fans which did not require any entry but they did pick 3 names randomly and I was not even aware of this..and I was one of the winners..I was so surprised to see my name coz I knew nothing about this..but glad coz I as it is was thinking of getting a few brushes.

This 12 brush set includes a foundation brush,concealer brush, powder brush, blush brush, fan brush,eyeliner brush and a few eye shadow brushes. (I am going brush brush :p)

They come properly placed in a black leather case with a covering on the top..this makes it so handy and travel friendly too.

What the Company claims: This professional quality 12-piece brush set includes 5 brushes for the face and 7 brushes for eyes. The brushes are packed in protective wrap and come in a handy black leather-look case. The set includes:

Both the large and small powder brush are super soft and fluffy..super easy to buff and blend..but the only problem is they do shed hair..

FOUNDATION/CONCEALER BRUSH – Can be used to apply powder or liquid foundation and is also ideal for applying concealers for large areas. Synthetic bristles.

CAMOUFLAGE BRUSH – the best brush for applying concealers and colour correctors for more precise results. Can be used for eyeshadows as well. Synthetic bristles.

I loved the foundation and concealer brushes the most…they are stiff and perfect for application..and soft to touch..the concealer brush reaches every corner of the face easily…and this brushes do not shed much hair too.

BLENDING BRUSH – Fluffy and rounded, perfect for applying and blending color on the crease. Natural bristles.

This blends colors on the crease amazingly well and also blends harsh lines.

FAN BRUSH – Flat fan-shaped brush ideal for applying blushers and shimmer powders. Natural bristles.

This is super soft and perfect for removing fall out from shadows and applying highlighters.

EYE LINER/ BROW BRUSH – use for applying eyeliners and brow colours. Synthetic bristles.

More than eyeliner, this works better for filling brows..

LARGE EYESHADOW BRUSH – soft eyeshadow brush to apply colour to the entire lid. Natural bristles.

This picks up shadows well and perfect for applying on the lids..its little stiff and makes it easy for patting eye shadows.

EYESHADOW BRUSH – multifunctional brush for applying eyeshadows. Natural bristles.

DETAIL BRUSH – small and flat brush ideal for detailed application of eyeshadows. Natural bristles.

This is perfect to use in the inner corners.

MEDIUM EYESHADOW BRUSH – multifunctional, semi-firm eyeshadow brush. Natural bristles.

FLAT TOP ANGLED BRUSH – can be used for applying eyeshadow all over but is perfect for applying shadow to the crease of the eyelid below the brow bone. Natural bristles.

This blends colors in the crease well..has that cut crease shape.

These have quite long handles which are easy to hold on to..and are quite soft and multi purpose…but the only problem is they do shed some hair..I just wish it had one more stiff line softener or smudger brush in the set..but overall its quite complete. And I would surely recommend this set to others..

I loved the packaging of this…transparent rectangular shaped with two lights on the cap and a golden mirror on the side..I absolutely love using it when I am travelling..and as soon as I open it up..the lights glow and everyone around is like ooh and aah ! :p

Ambika Pillai’s lip glosses have similar packaging and lights..which are available here.

I am reviewing the shades Natural and Baby Pink. Both are a little sheer but completely non sticky and very shiny..the shine makes the lips look a little plumper..these are very very moisturising too.

Baby Pink is a very light sheer pink and Natural is a little coppery pink.

These have a slanted soft sponge applicator..its easy to use.

Pros:

1. Completely non sticky.
2. I love both Natural and Baby Pink..they look good both alone and on top of lipsticks.
3. Very moisturising.
4. I adore the packaging and the mirror and lights !
5. Its very handy and can be used anywhere and everywhere literally !
6. 6 ml is a good quantity.

Cons:

1. Baby Pink is a little sheer for pigmented lips.
2. The lights of one of the lip gloss stopped working suddenly 🙁
3. Expensive for a sheer lip gloss.
4. Availability is an issue. You can order it here

Overall I do like them..more so for their packaging..but the lights of one stopped working and now it looks so normal..though these are quite good in quality too..worth trying once.

Its a twist up mechanical pencil..which only twists up but not down again..so one has to be very careful to not twist it up much..or else you would not be able to close the cap or squash it ruining the whole thing.
It comes in 6 colors and all have their own colored outer packaging with flowers designed on it.
If I had to review it in short…jet black, super pigmented, glides like butter, stays put the whole day, smudge free !!

I guess half of the people have had it at that ! This is the first eye pencil that stays put for a long time on me..though not on the waterline..nothing stays there on me, more than 2-3 hours..on the lower lash line…this thing stays put !
And here is how it looks on me..
Pros:
1. Super duper pigmented.
2. Jet black as I like.
3. It does not smudge and stays put on my lower lash line the whole day.
4. I use it on my waterline too..and it does not sting or irritate.
5. Super soft and glides like butter..just one stroke is enough.
6. Shelf life of 3 years.
Cons:
1. As its a twist up liner, it would not go back and one has to be careful in using it…and you would never know the exact quantity.
2. It has a thick tip and cannot be used on the upper lash line.
3. It sets super fast..so neither can you use it for smokey eyes and nor is it easy correcting mistakes with this once it sets..
4. A little expensive for 0.28g
Overall I do like it coz it stays put..the only problem is I cannot use it on my upper lash line as I do not prefer thick lines..but for lower lash line..I am loving it.
