Tan Fan: A fan of deep-toned taupe that defines the timeless nude of the 90s? Get your hands on Tan Fan with its muted brown and pink that will give you the perfect look to pair with smokey eyes

Rust Lust: Walk into every room like you own it with Rust Lust – a terracotta red shade that strikes a delicate balance between the reds and the browns to make your pout stand out without a hint of doubt!

The packaging is exactly like the Maybelline Lip Polish. It is transparent with a black cap and the clear product inside in the shape of a lipstick bullet at the end.

The wand is slightly small and not doe foot, but that help in being precise on the corners though. You do not get a lot of product in one dip as the dispensing hole is narrow and you may have to dip twice to cover the lips well.

It has a faint vanilla scent which is quite nice. Formula wise, it is super pigmented and neither runny nor too goopy. Glides on well and easy to apply. It takes about 1-2 minutes to dry completely and once set, it won’t budge or move. So be careful while applying.

Initially it may feel super drying, but lips get used to it in about 10-15 minutes, if you are used to matte liquid lipsticks though. If you prefer satin, creamy finish liquid lipsticks, this is not for you! These are drying and you need exfoliated, moisturised lips for using these. If you have very dry lips, these would accentuate the dryness even more.

The formula is pretty similar to Colourpop Ultra Matte Liquid Lipsticks. If you prefer the Ultra Satin ones, you will find these drying. Once dried, these don’t budge at all! No transfer, no smudging, the color ain’t going anywhere. In fact, even while removing these, you would need a good oil based makeup remover to take them off.

T: Brazen Raisin, Brink of Pink
B: Tan Fan, Rust Lust

They do fade away from the inside part of the lips though, like all matte liquid lipsticks. Especially when you have oily, greasy food. They stay for 4-5 hours before fading from the inside part, but still look as good overall. You will just need to reapply on the inside part.

I love the fact that they have nudes, pinks, reds, plums, all colors. And also they have priced it very reasonably! I was expecting 699-799 as they usually have that range, I am glad it is around 500 this time.

I would recommend the Sugar Liquid Lipsticks only if you are used to wearing matte formulas and are ok with the drying part. But that does come with the advantage of long staying, non transfer color and no touch ups 😀

I love each of the 4 shades, but Tan Fan and Rust Lust are just amazing! I definitely recommend these two, they are must haves.

Also if you order Fab Bag, you would be getting one of these next month 😀 You get to choose your own shade and I have chosen Suave Mauve. I would be swatching that in the Fab Bag post or adding it here, so watch out for that shade.

These were the shades I found a little unique and different, apart from the usual reds and pinks.

What do you feel about the new Sugar Smudge Me Not Liquid Lipsticks? Your favourite shade?
