The Body Shop Color Crush Lipsticks Review, Swatches

I showed you the swatches of all Body Shop Color Crush Lipsticks HERE. I also asked you to guess which two I picked..some of you guessed one right..

I liked 101 Red Siren which is a true red shade..but then I had many deep reds..I picked up 115 Enraptured Red and 335 Hot Date.

What the Company claims :Fall In Love with Lip Smacking Colour Introducing New Colour Crush Lipstick Fall in love with lip smacking colour with new Colour Crush™ Lipstick, our new, super nourishing lipstick collection made from the finest quality crushed pigments. From red-carpet reds, to flirty pinks, to au natural nudes, each cutting-edge lip colour is 100% cruelty free, 100% vegetarian and 100% high impact.

Lust-Have Lip Colour

Our new Colour Crush™ Lipstick collection is an on-trend palette of 24 brilliantly vibrant shades of lipstick, each delivering maximum colour impact. The fashion-forward line-up is available in three colour families; the brightest reds, the sweetest pinks and the finest nudes, in a mix of pure colour and subtle shimmer finishes. Whatever your style, whatever your skins tone, it’s time to reveal your true colours…

Crush On You

Our Colour Crush™ collection marries our most intense, full-on colours with luscious moisture. Our secret? We’ve travelled the world to source high-quality pigments, which we’ve finely crushed then blended with a drop of nurturing cherry seed oil and coated with our finest, silkiest Community Fair Trade marula oil. The result is vivid, wow-worthy colour that glides onto lips and feels mega-comfortable to wear. What’s more, each lipstick has a sophisticated delicate floral rose fragrance. Divine!

Three Colour Families

With so many hot hues to choose from, you can re-invent your lip-look every day. We love the flame-red drama of Red Siren 101, a bold and beautiful crimson that adds a touch of Hollywood glamour. We think our pink and violet shades are to-die-for; try Red Hot Raspberry 201 for a fierce fuchsia that packs a punch And for easy-to-wear elegance, slick on beautiful beige; one of our favorites is Coral Kiss 315, a shimmering peachy nude. Priced at a purse-friendly Rs.795 for 3.5g, you’ll want to get your hands on them!

Ingredients:

MRP: Rs.795/- for 3.5g

It comes in three different color families..so the packaging has three different colored caps..

Most of them I swatched where frost finish or gave that effect..I picked up 115 and 335 which were not frost..

115 Enraptured Red is a nice deep pinkish red.

335 Hot Date is a light mauve plum

These are super moisturising..no need of any lip balm with these..and highly pigmented..like two swipes give deep opaque coverage..and would cover pigmented lips too..

What I was amazed at..is the staying power ! No moisturising lipstick stays that long..like max 3-4 hours..this stayed for 6-7 hours plus and the tint was there till the end..which was quite deep and prominent too..

Pros:

1. Super pigmented.
2. Highly moisturising.
3. Stays for 6-7 hours and leaves behind a strong tint.
4. Has a soft rose fragrance.
5. Chic color wise packaging.
6. Glossy finish.
7. Does not smear or bleed.

Cons:

1. Expensive.
2. More shades in frost finish out of the shades launched.
3. Not all shades launched here.

Overall quality wise, these are fab ! When all qualities are present in a lipstick, its perfect ! And this one is..I highly recommend these !

After the Body Shop Color Crush Eyeshadows which were awesome, this too has stood upto those expectations being from the same range. Check out all other lipsticks swatches HERE.
